What are the hotel Check-in & Out times?

Check-in is 4:00pm and check out is 11:00am. For those arriving before 4 pm, we will try to arrange early check-in, however, this is subject to availability of the rooms.

Is breakfast included in the hotel?

A private continental breakfast will be provided from 7am - 8.30am Tues - Fri

What amenities are at the hotel?

There are several amenities within the Hilton including a fitness center, restaurants on-site, a concierge service, and an outdoor pool. Each bedroom comes equipped with a flat screen, a coffee maker, an iron and ironing board, a hairdryer,  air-conditioning, an in-room safe, and a mini refrigerator. This property is 100% Non-Smoking.

Do I need to bring an adaptor with me?

If you are traveling to Chicago from outside the USA, you may need to bring your own adaptor as type A and type B plugs are used within the USA.

Will I need to pay a security deposit at the hotel?

As standard procedure you will be asked to provide a security deposit of $75per night therefore if you are staying 18th - 22nd a $300 hold will be placed on your card. You will be able to use your Liquid card for this however, in the event that your liquid card does not work for hold charges, we recommend that you have a working credit card that has a $300 limit remaining. Should you have any questions or concerns about this please feel free to reach out to your HR Business Partner or myself.

Are we taking any precautions for Covid19?

As you know, we care deeply about your safety and that of your loved ones. We ask that you take all flight guidelines into consideration and we will be supplying antigen tests and will ask attendees to test regularly throughout the event. We will not ask to see your results or any medical records.

There are a number of great lunch spots near the hotel; 


Eggy's Diner Chicago - offers brunch and lunch options and tailors to vegetarian, vegan and gluten free diets.


The Palm - this restaurant offers a wide selection of burgers, salads, and sandwiches, with vegetarian and gluten-free options.


American Craft Kitchen and Bar - located in the Hyatt Regency itself, this spot is incredibly convenient and offers a selection of burgers, salads, and sandwiches, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. 


Blackwood BBQ - This restaurant is located a 5-minute walk from the hotel and offers organic pork, brisket, and chicken dishes.

Avli - Located an 8-minute walk from the Hyatt, this restaurant offers authentic Greek cuisine.


Sweetwater Tavern and Grille - This restaurant offers American dishes with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten sensitive options. It is only a 7-minute walk from the hotel.


The Purple Pig - Located just across the DuSable bridge, a 7-minute walk from your hotel, this restaurant offers seafood, pasta, and meat dishes.


The Palm - Only a 4-minute walk from the Hyatt, The Palm offers Italian, seafood, meat dishes and sharing platters.

Will I need to use my personal card and expense any incurred transactions? 

No, your TripActions account should be set up and activated. Within this you should have your virtual and/or physical card which can be used on the trip. Details of meal allowances etc can be found in your TripActions app

Is there anything planned for on the arrival day?

No, Tinos can do as they please. Meals will be per diem.

Do I need to bring my laptop?

Yes, please bring your laptop as you will need it for an activity

Is there a dress code for the event?

Business casual dress and maybe something a little smarter for the awards dinner. Remember it is going to be ~29 degrees and everywhere will have aircon

Will there be alcohol provided at the evening events?

Yes we will be providing an array of beverages including alcoholic drinks. We will also be providing lots of food. We ask that you remember that you are representing Tines at all times even when socialising and manage your intake and conduct appropriately.
